- Vox Charta: a place where you can see the most up to date papers from arXiv discussed in various departments of astronomy in universities across the United States. Here is the link for my school, Vanderbilt University’s vox charta. Link: http://vanderbilt.voxcharta.org/
PROGRAMMING
The most common programming language used among astronomers is Python. Codecademy offers tutorials to learn how to program in python and other languages. Here is the link for tutorials in python: https://www.codecademy.com/learn/python
- If you are interested in developing coding skills in a more applicable way for other projects, consider khan academy, where you can learn JavaScript or HTML. In general , these languages are not used in astronomy, but can help you develop programing skills. Link: https://www.khanacademy.org/computing/computer-programming
